1. Acceptance of Agreement
By creating an account, onboarding an educational institution, accessing student results, or using any feature of MySchoolReg (“the Platform”), you enter into a legally binding agreement with BUYTRUST NIGERIA LIMITED (“Company”, “we”, “us”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.
2. School Account & Administrative Responsibilities
Schools utilizing MySchoolReg warrant that:
- All institutional registration information, accreditation details, and administrator contact credentials provided during onboarding are accurate, truthful, and authorized.
- The institution has lawful authority and parental consent to register students, assign guardian contact phone numbers, and record terminal academic scores.
- School administrators are solely responsible for securing staff passwords, delegating sectional permissions (Principal, Head Teacher, Form Teacher), and auditing score entries prior to publishing report cards.
3. Automated WhatsApp & Notification Services
MySchoolReg facilitates automated transactional communications via the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API and SMS gateways.
Guidelines & Rules:
- Messages sent through the platform must be strictly related to student welfare, academic performance, emergency alerts, digital receipts, or school activities.
- Spam, bulk marketing unrelated to the school, or unsolicited messaging is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate account suspension.
- Guardians may update communication preferences through their student portal profile or by contacting their respective school administrator.
4. Fee Collections, Payments & Receipts
Where enabled, school fee payments are executed via licensed payment processors (Paystack). By initiating a payment on MySchoolReg:
- You agree to pay all applicable transaction fees and statutory charges displayed at checkout.
- Digital receipts issued upon successful settlement constitute official proof of transaction between the payer and the school.
- Disputes or refunds regarding tuition, uniform, or transport fees must be addressed directly with the school administration, subject to the school’s internal refund policies.
5. Intellectual Property & Service Availability
All software code, database architectures, user interfaces, branding, and algorithms comprising MySchoolReg are the exclusive intellectual property of BUYTRUST NIGERIA LIMITED.
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, services may occasionally be interrupted for scheduled updates, server migrations, or force majeure events. We maintain redundant backups to protect institutional records.
